What to Capture?

​Participants are encouraged to showcase the rich diversity of India’s natural world:

  • Wildlife: Unique animal species in their natural habitats.
  • ​Biodiversity: Vibrant ecosystems, flora, and fauna that make India’s landscapes unique.
  • ​Natural Habitats: Forests, wetlands, mountains, and coastal regions.
  • ​Equipment: You can capture your photographs using either a mobile phone or a digital camera. It’s not about high-end gear; it’s about your unique perspective and storytelling through nature!

Photography Contest Guidelines

  1. Photographs must reflect the theme of the contest: “Through the Lens of Nature: Celebrating Wildlife, Biodiversity and Conservation.”
  2. Photographs must be original and captured by the participant. Creativity, originality, composition and relevance to the theme are highly encouraged.
  3. Participants may submit photographs in JPG, JPEG or PNG format.
  4. The maximum file size for each photograph is 10 MB.
  5. Participants shall submit their photographs online by completing the Google Form and uploading their entries within the prescribed deadline.
  6. Participants may submit [insert number] photograph(s) per entry.
  7. Basic editing such as cropping, brightness and contrast adjustments is permitted. However, photographs must not be digitally manipulated in a manner that misrepresents the original scene.
  8. Upon successful submission of their photographs through the Google Form, an e-Certificate of Participation will be sent to the registered email address.
  9. All submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on originality, creativity, photographic quality, composition and relevance to the theme.
  10. The shortlisted and winning photographs will be displayed during the Winner Announcement and Prize Distribution Ceremony and may also be used for EIACP environmental awareness and outreach activities, with due acknowledgement to the photographer.
