ABOUT THE Faculty Development Program on Concept to Manuscript
The objective of this Faculty Development Program is to provide participants with a structured and practical approach to writing and publishing academic research papers.
It aims to build a strong foundation in research fundamentals by guiding Faculty members and research scholars through stage of the research process from identifying a suitable research problem and conducting an in-depth literature review, to designing methodology, analyzing data, and drafting a well-structured manuscript.
The Program also focusses on skills including academic writing skills, understanding citation and referencing techniques, and adhering to ethical research and publication practices. Furthermore, it equips participants with the knowledge needed to select appropriate journals, navigate the peer-review process, and use digital tools to enhance research quality and visibility.
Over-all, the FDP is designed to foster a research-driven academic environment and improve publication out comes across disciplines.
