About the Competition

  • On the occasion of the “International Day for Biological Diversity (22 May, 2026)”, Online Drawing Competition on Acting Locally for Global Impact for students.
  • Topics for Drawing: Reducing Single-Use Plastic in Schools, Biodiversity Around Us & Preserving Our Surrounding Forests
  • Categories: 1) 10-18 Years, 2) 18 Years & Above.
  • Participants should submit their entry by filling the google form only.
  • The winning entries will receive e-certificates and prizes.
  • Free Participants.
  • Last Date of Submission: 02nd June 2026

Instructions:

  • This competition is open for Indian Citizens only. Entry should be done from one Email ID only.
  • Each file should be named as Participant’s Name-Topic Name-Group. For example: XYZ–ABC-Group A
  • You are required to provide topic for each image submitted. Topics to be chosen from are as follows: I) Reducing Single-Use Plastic in Schools, II) Biodiversity Around Us, III) Preserving Our Surrounding Forests
  • The drawing should be made on a A4 size paper only. Any colouring medium is allowed.
  • Digital editing of drawing is not permitted.
  • Send only a good resolution (at least 150 dpi) scanned copy of the drawing (in JPEG format).
  • Winners may be asked to submit the original drawing and copy of their date of birth proof, if required.
  • Entries with unclear or low-resolution images and incomplete information regarding the participant will be rejected.
  • The best three drawings from each group will feature on the BNHS-EIACP DRC Portal (https://eiacp.moef.gov.in/drc/eiacp/centre/BNHS).
  • Prize distribution details will be emailed to the winners only.
