Rules & Guidelines – Online Drawing Competition on Indian Akshay Urja Day 2026

  1. Eligibility: The competition is open to students and common public of the specified age categories.
  2. Theme: Artwork must be based on the announced theme: “Renewable Energy for a Climate-Safe Future”, “Energy Independence through Renewable Energy”
  3. Original Artwork: The drawing must be the participant’s own original work. Traced, copied, AI-generated or previously published artwork will not be accepted.
  4. Drawing Sheet: Use a clean A4/A3-size white sheet in either portrait or landscape orientation.
  5. Medium: Participants may use crayons, colour pencils, oil pastels, sketch pens, watercolours, poster colours, etc.
  6. Time Limit: The artwork must be completed within the specified competition period. last submission date: 18th August 2026.
  7. Online Submission: Participants must take a clear, high-resolution photograph or scan of the completed artwork and upload it through this form.
  8. Participant Details: The participant must provide correct name, class/age, school/college, contact details and other required information in the registration/submission form.
  9. Identification: Participant’s name, class and contact details should be written on the front of the artwork.
  10. One Entry: Each participant can submit only one artwork.
  11. Submission Deadline: Entries received after the announced deadline will not be considered.
  12. Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, artistic presentation, composition and overall impact.
  13. Disqualification: Entries containing offensive, inappropriate, plagiarised/copied content or violating the competition guidelines may be disqualified.
  14. Use of Submitted Artwork: IITM–EIACP may use selected artworks for awareness, educational, exhibition and social-media purposes, with due acknowledgement where applicable.
  15. Final Decision: The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding. No correspondence regarding the evaluation or ranking will be entertained.
  16. Certificates & Prizes: Certificates/prizes will be provided to winners and/or participants as per the competition announcement.
  17. Rights Reserved: IITM–EIACP reserves the right to modify the rules, extend the submission deadline, reject entries or cancel/postpone the competition if required.
